CONCRETE SOUNDS — BALFRON NIGHTS

12-inch photographic record sleeve | £9.99

Part of my Concrete Sounds collection, bringing together two of my greatest passions: London's brutalist architecture and the underground music that emerged from its council estates.

Each sleeve features original photography on both sides and is designed to house a standard 12-inch vinyl record. Equally at home in a record collection or displayed as artwork.

A SIDE — Balfron Nights
B SIDE — Balfron Dusk

Trellick Tower might be London's most iconic brutalist building, but Balfron Tower was built a few years earlier by the same architect. To me, Balfron is the tougher of the two architectural siblings.

Balfron Tower has since been converted into luxury flats, but these photographs were captured while it was still social housing and still a home for pirate radio transmissions.

If you love brutalism and East London's musical culture, this is where the two meet.

Please note: This is a photographic record sleeve only. No vinyl record is included.
