Spend four hours exploring London with James, then return to your images in a separate two-hour Lightroom workshop. This is a private experience for photographers who want to connect what happens on location with the decisions that give a finished image its character.
On location
Work on composition, exposure and light along a route tailored to your interests. Learn to shoot with the edit in mind and recognise the frames worth developing.
In Lightroom
Choose your strongest images and work through a practical approach to colour, tone, cropping and local adjustments. Explore how to create a consistent feel while keeping the photograph believable.
Included: a four-hour private shoot and a separate two-hour editing workshop for one person. The editing session can take place online by arrangement. Bring a camera; for the workshop you will need a computer with Lightroom installed. Software subscriptions are not included. No physical gift box is included.

This is a private session with James Burns, founder of London from the Rooftops, drawing on over 20 years photographing London. Teaching is tailored to your interests, experience and equipment.
Booking your date
After purchase, email james@londonfromtherooftops.com with your order number. We will agree a date, meeting point and creative brief together. Please arrange your session within 12 months of purchase. Dates are subject to availability; contact James before buying if you need a particular day. Outdoor routes are planned around weather and accessible locations; private rooftop access is not included. Travel, refreshments and paid venue entry are not included.
